GROUNDING TECHNIQUES
Walk outside on the grass, dirt or sand - weather permitting, walk barefoot to get the best results. This technique is also called “earthing” which allows your body to absorb the natural electric charge that comes from the earth. As you are outside, focus on the sights and sounds.

Box Breathing Exercise:

Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of 4

Hold your breath for a count of 4

Exhale your breath for a count of 4

Hold your breath again for a count of 4
Take a shower or bath - engaging with water or drinking cold water is very grounding.
Visualizing and Meditation - taking just 5 to 10 minutes to visualize a white or golden light around you or quieting the mind is a great way to ground. Start out slow with 5 minutes and as you get better, add additional minutes each time.
Body Scan Exercise: start by mentally scanning the top of your head and working your way down your body to your feet, noticing the sensations in each part of your body (head, chest, stomach, arms, legs, feet, etc.)
Grounding Crystals and Stones - crystals and stones are a great way to ground and balance the Root Chakra. They can be worn on your body or placed within your home and work environment.
